1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, general rules and evaluation requirements for the evaluation of the maturity of the organic industry.
This standard is applicable to the appraisal organization's evaluation of the maturity of the organic industry of regional management institutions, and also applies to regional regulatory agencies within the region.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions as defined in RB/T 159-2017 apply to this document.
3.1
Organic industry maturity organicindustrymaturity
The extent to which organic industries develop in a particular region.
Note 1. The environmental, social, economic and cultural impacts of the organic industry on the region are reflected in the evaluation of specific indicators in the region.
Note 2. The maturity of the organic industry demonstrates the security system, environmental value, social value, economic value, cultural value, and industry in the development of organic industries in specific regions.
The performance of chain integrity and its regional management reflects the role and effectiveness of regional ecological civilization construction.
Note 3. The organic industry maturity evaluation index is a systematic evaluation index of the development level of organic industry in a specific region.
Note 4. The organic industry maturity evaluation index can be used as an important evaluation index for building an ecological industry by means of developing organic industries.
