3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
3.1
Systematic investigation
In order to understand the dynamics of the occurrence and growth of pests and diseases in a region, a survey of fixed-point, timing, and fixed methods was conducted.
3.2
Daejeon census
In order to understand the overall occurrence of pests and diseases in a region, a multi-point survey was conducted on a larger scale.
3.3
Recover damages
The yield loss of the crops recovered by controlling the pests and larvae, that is, the increased yield of the control area than the control area.
3.4
Actual loss
The yield loss caused by the remaining pests and diseases of the crops after the crops have been controlled by the pests and diseases.
3.5
Diseased leaf rate
The number of infected leaves was investigated as a percentage of the total number of leaves investigated.
3.6
Severity
The ratio of the leaf area covered by the pathological mycelium to the total area of the leaf on the diseased leaf, expressed by the classification method, is set to 8 grades, respectively, using 1%, 5%,
10%, 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%, 100%. For the condition between the grades, take the close value, although the disease has occurred but the severity is low
At 1%, record at 1%. For group leaves, the average severity of diseased leaves should be calculated according to formula (1). The use of average severity can be used during the initial period of the disease
Strict counting calculation; when the disease is in the probable period and the number of points to be investigated is large, the average severity of a point is given according to the visual estimate.
