Summary This standard specifies the basic requirements for the identification process, method and acceptance criteria of the safety waste heat removal pump motor of PWR nuclear power plant. This standard is applicable to the waste heat pump motor installed in the containment of a PWR nuclear power plant under normal operating conditions, under accident conditions and/or after an accident condition and capable of performing its safety function under seismic loads. The motor is rated voltage (6 ~ 10) kV level squirrel cage three-phase asynchronous motor. This standard does not apply to the need for regular replacement of the motor parts and grease identification.
