Introduction
This procedure is prepared in accordance with the rules given in JJF1002-2010 "Rules for the preparation of national metrological verification procedures", and
Evaluate and express measurement uncertainty according to JJF1059.1-2012 "Measurement Uncertainty Evaluation and Representation"
analysis.
The verification method of this regulation adopts the national standard GB/T 4130-2000 "Audio hydrophone low frequency calibration method"
The closed cavity comparison method.
This procedure replaces JJG 340-1999 "1Hz ~ 1000Hz measuring hydrophone". With JJG 340-1999
The main technical changes are as follows.
--- Expanded the frequency range of the verification object, from the original 1Hz ~ 1kHz to 1Hz ~ 2kHz;
--- Added reference files;
--- Added general technical requirements.
The previous versions of this procedure are released.
---JJG 340-1999 "1Hz ~ 1000Hz measuring hydrophone";
---JJG 340-1984 "Low-frequency measurement hydrophone trial".
1Hz~2kHz standard hydrophone (closed cavity comparison method) verification procedure
1 Scope
This procedure is applicable to standard hydrophones used in the frequency range of 1 Hz to 2 kHz.
The first verification, subsequent verification and inspection in use.
2 reference files
This procedure refers to the following documents.
JJG 449-2014 octave and fractional octave filter
JJF1001-2011 General Measurement Terms and Definitions
JJF1034-2005 Acoustic measurement terminology and definition
GB/T 3102.7-1993 The amount and unit of acoustics

For dated references, only the dated version applies to this Code; any undated quotation
The latest version (including all amendments) applies to this procedure.
3 terms and units of measure
This procedure uses the relevant terms in JJF1001-2011, JJF1034-2005, GB/T 3947-1996 and
definition.
This procedure uses the quantities and units specified in GB/T 3102.7-1993.
3.1 hydrophone hydrophone
An electroacoustic transducer for receiving a hydroacoustic signal.
Note. due to different working principles, characteristics and construction, there are sound pressure, sound pressure gradient, undirected, pointed, piezoelectric, optical fiber, etc.
Listener.
[GB/T 3947-1996, definition 7.81]
3.2 reference standard hydrophone referencestandardhydrophone
A stable, absolutely calibrated transducer for hydroacoustic metrology. Often used as a reference for establishing sound pressure in water
The standard is used to pass the sound pressure value.
3.3 Sound pressure sensitivity pressuresensitivity
The ratio of the open circuit voltage at the output of the receiving transducer to the actual sound pressure acting on the receiving surface of the transducer.
Symbol. Mp.
Unit. V/Pa.
[JJF1034-2005, definition 3.63]
3.4 Sound pressure sensitivity level pressuresensitivitylevel
The base 10 logarithm of the ratio of the magnitude of the sound pressure sensitivity to the reference value is multiplied by 20.
