Introduction
This procedure is a revision of JJG 185-1997 "500Hz ~ 1MHz measuring hydrophone".
The basis for this revision is the IEC 60565.2006 "Water Acoustic Hydrophone in the frequency range of 0.01 Hz to 1 MHz.
calibration".
Compared with JJG 185-1997, the main revisions are.
--- The name of the procedure was changed to "500Hz~1MHz standard hydrophone (free field comparison method)";
--- The terms used are based on the terms and definitions in JJF1001-2011 General Terms and Definitions;
---Add reference files;
--- Increase general technical requirements;
--- Remove the sensitivity (response) level and sensitivity (response) conversion table.
The previous versions of this procedure were released as follows.
---JJG 185-1997.
500Hz~1MHz standard hydrophone
(free field comparison method) verification procedure
1 Scope
This procedure applies to the first verification and follow-up of standard hydrophones used in the frequency range of 500 Hz to 1 MHz.
Verification and inspection in use.
2 reference files
This procedure refers to the following documents.
JJF1001-2011 General Measurement Terms and Definitions
JJF1034-2005 Acoustic measurement terminology and definition
GB/T 3102.7-1993 The amount and unit of acoustics
GB/T 3947-1996 acoustic terminology
IEC 60565.2006 Hydroacoustic hydrophone calibration from 0.01 Hz to 1 MHz (Underwater)
acoustics-Hydrophone-Calibrationinthefrequencyrange0.01Hzto1MHz)
For dated references, only the dated version applies to this Code; any undated quotation
The latest version (including all amendments) applies to this procedure.
3 terms and units of measure
This procedure uses the relevant terms in JJF1001-2011, JJF1034-2005, GB/T 3947-1996 and
definition.
This procedure uses the quantities and units specified in GB/T 3102.7-1993.
Note. Unless otherwise stated, all voltage values in this specification refer to the effective value.
3.1 hydrophone hydrophone
An electroacoustic transducer for receiving a hydroacoustic signal.
Note. due to different working principles, characteristics and construction, there are sound pressure, sound pressure gradient, undirected, pointed, piezoelectric, optical fiber, etc.
Listener.
[GB/T 3947-1996, definition 7.81]
3.2 standard hydrophone standardhydrophone
A stable, absolutely calibrated transducer for hydroacoustic metrology. Often used as a reference for establishing sound pressure in water
The standard is used to pass the sound pressure value.
[GB/T 3947-1996, definition 7.82]
3.3 Free field sensitivity free-fieldsensitivity
Receiving the open circuit voltage at the output of the transducer, and presenting itself at the center of the transducer before the introduction of the transducer in the sound field
The ratio of the sound pressure from the field.
