Introduction
JJF 1071-2010 "Rules for the Compilation of National Metrology and Calibration Specifications", JJF 1059.1-2012 "Measuring Uncertainty
"Assessment and Representation" together constitute a basic series of specifications that support the formulation of this specification.
This specification is released for the first time.
Calibration specification for retroreflectometer
1 Scope
This specification applies to the calibration of retroreflective measuring instruments.
2 Reference documents
This specification refers to the following documents.
JJF 1059.1 Evaluation and expression of measurement uncertainty
JJF 1796 Retroreflective Standard
JT/T 688-2007 Retroreflective terminology
JT/T 690 Retroreflector photometric performance test method
For dated reference documents, only the dated version applies to this specification; for undated reference documents,
The latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this specification.
3 Terms and definitions
The terms and definitions defined in JT/T 688-2007 and below apply to this specification.
3.1 retroreflection
Reflected light is a kind of reflection that returns from the opposite direction close to the incident light.
[JT/T 688-2007,2.1]
3.2 RI coefficientofluminousintensity
The luminous intensity (I) of the retroreflector in the observation direction is the same as the light on the plane perpendicular to the direction of the incident light.
The ratio of illuminance (E┴), the unit is candela per lux (cd·lx-1).
[JT/T 688-2007,2.34]
3.3 RA coefficientofretroreflection
The ratio of the luminous intensity coefficient to the surface area of the retroreflector, the unit is candela per lux square meter (cd·lx-1·m-2).
[JT/T 688-2007,2.35]
3.4 RL coefficientofretroreflectedluminance
The ratio of the brightness L in the observation direction to the normal illuminance on the plane perpendicular to the direction of the incident light, the unit is Kande
Pull lux per square meter (cd·m-2·lx-1).
[JT/T 688-2007,2.37]
4 overview
The retroreflective measuring instrument is used to measure traffic safety such as traffic signs and reflective films, road traffic markings, and raised road signs.
A portable optical device with full facility luminosity performance, used with retroreflective standard. The measurement principle is
The alternative method specified in JT/T 690 can be used for both laboratory measurement and engineering site measurement.
