Introduction
This type evaluation outline is based on JJF 1015-2014 "General Specification for Type Evaluation of Measuring Instruments", JJF 1016-
2014 "Guidelines for the Compilation of Outlines for Measuring Apparatus Type Evaluation" and JJF 1051-2014 "Code for Nomenclature and Classification of Measuring Apparatus"
Code "preparation.
The technical indicators of this type evaluation outline refer to JJG579-2010 "Refractive Lens Box", GB 17342-
2009 "Ophthalmic Instruments Optometry Lens", ISO 9801..2009 "Ophthalmic Instruments Optometry Lens Box" (Ophthalmic
instruments-Trailcaselenses) and other technical documents, of which JJG579-2010 is the primary reference standard.
This type evaluation outline is released for the first time.
Outline of evaluation of type of optometry lens box
1 Scope
This type evaluation program is applicable to the type evaluation of the refraction lens box with the classification code of 33720000.
2 Reference documents
The following documents are cited in this type evaluation outline.
JJG579 Optometry Lens Case
GB 17342 Ophthalmic Instruments Optometry Lenses

3 Terms and definitions
3.1 Top power vertexpower
The reciprocal of the paraxial focal length of the lens in meters.
Note. A lens contains two top and bottom power.
3.2 Back-vertexpower
The reciprocal of the focal length of the lens's paraxial back vertex in meters. As shown in Figure 1, the distance from the back vertex of the lens to the focal point of the image side
The distance is called the back top focal length, which is represented by the symbol lf '. Its reciprocal is called the back vertex power, or 1/lf '. Unit of back vertex power
It is the reciprocal of the meter (m-1), and the unit name is diopter.
Note. Unless otherwise specified, the top power of the lens refers to the back top power.
3.3 Prism power
A measure of the deviation of light after passing a specified point on the lens (usually the center of the lens), a unit of prism
It is centimeters per meter (cm/m), and the unit name is prism diopter.
F-object focus; F'-image focus; H-object principal point; H'-image principal point;
f-object square focal length; f'-image square focal length; lf-front top focal length; lf'-back top focal length
