| Summary | This standard specifies the structural type, technical requirements, and material requirements for valves used in high-pressure hydrogenation units, describes the corresponding test methods, and specifies the inspection rules, marking, protection, and packaging. This standard applies to nominal sizes DN15 to DN600 and nominal pressures PN100 to PN400 or nominal sizes NPS1/2 to NPS24. This standard specifies the manufacture of valves (including gate valves, globe valves, and check valves) for hydrogen refining and hydrocracking units, etc., with nominal pressures ranging from Class 600 to Class 2500, applicable to media such as hydrogen (containing hydrogen sulfide), hydrogen fuel gas (containing hydrogen sulfide), and hydrogen fuel products (containing hydrogen sulfide). The manufacture of valves for other similar applications is subject to this standard. |
