| Summary | This standard specifies the drinking and non- drinking water (up to 110C) supply pipes vulcanized rubber gasket material requirements. This standard applies to cast iron pipe, steel, ceramic pipes, asbestos cement pipes, cement pipes, reinforced concrete pipes, plastic pipes and glass fiber reinforced plastic pipe and all pipe joints seals. This standard applies to composite or non- composite elastomer seal part. For the hardness range 76 IRHD ~ 95 IRHD of composite material seals, sealing effect only when the materials involved in or contribute to the long-term stability of seals when applicable elongation, compression and application of relaxation requirements. This standard does not apply to closed-cell cellular rubber material or material as part of its structure made ??of the interface seals. |
