Guidelines for Quality Assessment of Small Fuse

1 Scope

This document specifies the requirements for batch inspection, reliability and durability testing, and periodic inspection for the quality assessment of small fuses. This document provides guidelines for non-type testing of small fuse elements to facilitate communication between users and manufacturers regarding certain test procedures. Use when a complete consensus cannot be reached in practice. The purpose of this document is to provide generally acceptable guidance for quality control purposes to users and manufacturers with high demand for small fuses. This document is applicable to batches of 10,000 or more. It may also be applicable to smaller batches if necessary. For miniature fuses that have passed all type tests specified in the relevant parts of GB/T 9364, in order to ensure their technical performance level To maintain this, a periodic inspection of simplified type testing (Chapter 5) is required. This document does not specify the frequency of periodic inspections for batch-by-batch inspections. For the application guidelines of the IEC EE03 (CB-FCS) rule for small fuses, see Appendix A.
