Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 859-1987 "Lightweight Spring Washers". Compared with GB/T 859-1987, the main differences are structural adjustments and editorial changes. Aside from the changes, the main technical changes are as follows. a) Specifications 2.0 and 2.5 were added, and some d-dimensions were changed (see Table 1, Chapter 3, 1987 edition); b) A table of technical requirements and referenced standards has been added (see Table 2); c) Passivation requirements for stainless steel gaskets have been increased (see Table 2); d) Added "If other technical requirements or surface treatments are needed, they shall be determined by the supply and demand agreement" (see Table 2); e) Added signs and labels (see Chapter 6). 1 Scope

This document specifies the types, dimensions, technical requirements, markings, labels, and markings for lightweight spring washers. This document applies to lightweight spring washers (hereinafter referred to as "washers") with a size of 1.6mm to 30mm. Note. When the spring washers specified in this document are used with 10.9 grade and 12.9 grade bolts and screws, attention should be paid to the phenomenon of spring washer expansion.
