Foreword
This standard replaces GB 6946-1993 "rope aluminum compression joints."
This standard is GB 6946-1993 "rope aluminum compression joints" amendments.
Compared to modify this standard and GB 6946-1993 as follows.
--- Connector representation by type A (cylindrical joints), B-type (cylindrical inverted triangle joints), C-type (cylindrical cone-shaped joint) modification
Type A (cylindrical joints), B (cylindrical cone-shaped joint);
--- Joint material selection from the "flat oval fittings used in the recommended GB 3191 LF2, LF21 aluminum alloy material
Made "to" flat oval tube fittings used should be preferred by the suppression of pipes made of flat oval tube, the material should be used
GB/T 4437.1 in 3A21H112 (this material can only be used in hoisting rigging) or 5A02H112 aluminum and aluminum alloy extruded
Seamless pipe manufacturing. It must be accompanied by a certificate of quality. ";

1 Scope
This standard specifies the wire rope aluminum compression joints (hereinafter referred to as the joint) classification, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules.
This standard applies to a diameter of 6mm ~ 65mm, nominal tensile strength of not more than 1870MPa round strand wire rope joint.
This standard does not apply to single-strand and shaped strand wire rope joint.
