1 Scope

This Part of GB/T 6187 specifies the dimensions, technical requirements and designation of prevailing torque type all-metal hexagon nuts with flange, style 2. This Part applies to prevailing torque type all-metal hexagon nuts, style 2, product grades A and B, with thread M5 to M20, and of property class 8, 10 and 12. Product grade A is used for nuts with D ≤ 16 mm; and product grade B is used for nuts with D > 16 mm. Note. The dimensions of the nuts correspond to those given in GB/T 6177.1 plus prevailing torque feature.
