This standard replaces GB/T 6144-1985 "synthetic cutting fluid."
This standard compared with GB/T 6144-1985, the main differences are as follows.
--- Increasing the normative references section;
--- Increased security section;
--- Adjust the product classification by category 4 to category 2;
--- Increased product of sodium nitrite test items;
--- Modify the product's largest non-card bite load PB value.

3 Product Categories
This product is classified according to the provisions of GB/T 7631.5 performed, and the composition is divided into two categories based on synthetic cutting fluid concentrate.
L-MAG class, the concentrate mixed with water with rust transparent liquid, may contain a filler;
L-MAH class with friction and (or) extreme pressure of the MAG type concentrate.
4 Requirements
4.1 General Requirements
Synthetic cutting fluid specified in this standard should be odorless and does not harm human skin, to ensure the safety of users.
Synthetic cutting fluid manufacturer shall ensure that from the date of manufacture shelf life of more than one year, the retention period should reach this performance
Standard requirements.
Synthetic cutting fluid concentration factory (except special process or have special requirements for material outside) is generally not more than 5%.
