1 Scope

This standard specifies the Marine forged steel male thread stop valve (hereinafter referred to as the cut-off valve) classification and marking requirements, test methods, inspection rules, Logo, packaging and storage. This standard applies to ships piping systems shutoff valve design, manufacture and acceptance.

3 Classification and Marking

Type 3.1 Shut-off valve is divided into two types as follows. A straight-through type --- shut-off valve; Type B --- right angle stop valve. 3.2 Basic parameters The basic parameters of shut-off valves are shown in Table 1.
