Foreword

This document was drafted in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 Directives for standardization - Part 1: Rules for the structure and drafting of standardizing documents. This document replaces GB/T 5859-2008 Rolling bearings - Self-aligning thrust roller bearings - Boundary dimensions. Compared with GB/T 5859-2008, except for editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows: a) Two chapters “Terms and definitions” and “Identification codes” are added (see Chapter 3 and Chapter 5); b) The definitions of some symbols are changed (see Chapter 4, Figure 1, and Tables 1~3; see Chapter 3, Figure 1, and Tables 1~3 of the 2008 edition); c) The dimension ranges of self-aligning thrust roller bearings have been expanded (see Tables 1~3; see Tables 1~3 of the 2008 edition). Please note that some of the contents of this document may involve patents. The issuing agency of this document is not responsible for identifying patents. This document specifies the boundary dimensions of self-aligning thrust roller bearings that comply with GB/T 273.2-2018. This document is applicable to the design and model selection of self-aligning thrust roller bearings (hereinafter referred to as “bearings”).
