4 Method—potentiometric titration
4.1 Principle
The sample is decomposed with hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, perchloric acid and hydrofluoric acid, and is measured by potentiometric titration with potassium permanganate standard solution in neutral potassium pyrophosphate medium.
