1 Scope

This standard specifies the rated frequency, rated voltage and rated current of electrical products for ships and offshore installations. This standard applies to ships and offshore equipment (mobile and fixed) of the electrical products. The electrical products include reliable fixed and permanent connection Power supply, lighting, electric heating, cooking equipment; automatic control systems and communications, navigation equipment, external general power supply device; electrical instrumentation; Mobile power tools and mobile lighting devices and equipment that operate at safety voltages. This standard does not apply to the following. a) a dedicated power supply within the equipment and devices and components connected to these power supplies; b) thermal components of the thermal relay and fuses of the fuse (for rated current parameters); c) Excitation equipment for generators; d) special equipment and cables.
