1 Scope
This document specifies the general technical requirements for children's electric scooters and describes the corresponding test methods.
This document applies to electric scooters used by children aged 6 to 14.
This document does not apply to children's electric scooters designed for use on public transportation roads, nor to non-powered toy scooters or skateboards.
Electric bicycles, electric-assisted bicycles, electric wheelchairs, or similar electric vehicles are not permitted, nor are battery-powered ride-on toys.
