3.Terms and definitions, abbreviations
3.1 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1.1
First fix time (timetofirstfix) ;TTFF
The time required for a navigation terminal to start up and obtain a positioning result that meets the requirements.
Note. Startup conditions include cold start and warm start.
[Source. GB/T 19391-2003, 4.4, with modifications]
3.1.2
cold start
Navigation terminals start up when there is no valid satellite ephemeris, satellite almanac, approximate time, or approximate location.
[Source. GB/T 19391-2003, 2.72, with modifications]
3.1.3
hotstart
The navigation terminal starts up when the satellite ephemeris, time, and approximate location are valid.
[Source. GB/T 19391-2003, 2.74, with modifications]
3.1.4
re-acquisition time
After a brief loss of lock on the received satellite navigation signal, the navigation terminal needs to recover the positioning result to meet the requirements.
time.
3.1.5
cold start sensitivity
The minimum signal strength required for a navigation terminal to capture satellite navigation signals and achieve normal positioning under cold start conditions.
