This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".
Drafting.
This document modifies and adopts ISO 12000.2014 "Plastics/rubber polymer dispersions and rubber latexes (natural and synthetic)" to define and implement them.
Overview of testing methods.
This document differs significantly from ISO 12000.2014.The relevant clauses are indicated in vertical margins.
Single lines (|) are indicated. A summary of these technical differences and their causes can be found in Appendix A.
The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

1.Scope
This document defines the relevant polymer dispersions and latexes.
This document applies to test methods for determining the properties of polymer dispersions, including products of synthetic or natural origin, encompassing both synthetic and natural rubber.
Latex.
Some of the test methods in this document are only applicable to polymer dispersions or latexes with specific chemical compositions, or for specific applications.
Note. When there are no currently valid standards for these test methods, the test methods used to study polymer dispersions or latexes shall be based on the agreements of the relevant parties.
