1.Scope
This document defines the terms and definitions for the quality grades of primary Magnolia officinalis forest products, and specifies the grading, quality requirements, inspection rules, and packaging.
It covers packaging, marking, transportation, and storage, and describes the corresponding inspection methods.

3.Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Bootstube-shapedcortex
The product is the processed product of the dry bark from about 65cm above the ground to the main (branch) root bark about 5cm deep.
Note. Also known as Brain Bark or Boot Bark. The leather is 0.3cm to 0.8cm thick, with a cylindrical shape at the top, and the overall shape resembles a boot.

Simple tube-shaped cortex
Products made from the processed dried bark of Magnolia officinalis above the boot shaft.
Note. 30cm~35cm in length, 0.2cm~0.7cm in thickness, in the form of a rolled tube or double rolled tube.

Products made from processed Magnolia officinalis bark.
Note. The skin is 10cm~20cm long and 0.1cm~0.2cm thick. It is monotube-shaped, brittle, easily broken, and has a fibrous cross-section.
4 Product Categories
Based on the collection location and characteristics, the primary forest products of Magnolia officinalis are divided into three types. boot-shaped Magnolia officinalis, tube-shaped Magnolia officinalis, and branch-shaped Magnolia officinalis.
