| Summary | This standard specifies test methods for plastic flash ignition temperature measurement and auto-ignition temperature of hot air furnace. It is one way to evaluate the performance of the plastic on fire. This standard does not directly measure the value of material burning or combustion rate, or the use of plastic safety caps given temperature, it can not be used alone to describe or evaluate the actual fire material, hazard and risk products, or finished product. However, the test results of all relevant factors can be used as a fire hazard and risk assessment of a factor. Different materials can be used to test fire the relative performance evaluation under the provisions of this standard. Under the experimental conditions the value obtained when the material represents the minimum ignition temperature environment. The test results can be used as the material basis for the division of fire sensitivity level. |
