4 Principle
The shredded leather or fur samples are extracted with ultrasonic-assisted methanol, and the extract is filtered through a filter membrane or purified by a solid phase extraction column.
Then, the product was determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and quantified by external standard method.
5 Reagents and Materials
5.1 General provisions. Unless otherwise specified, all reagents used are of analytical grade.
5.2 Methanol, chromatographic grade.
5.3 Anhydrous magnesium sulfate (MgSO4).
5.4 Six kinds of glycol ether standard substances. For detailed substance information, see Appendix A.
5.5 Standard stock solutions of glycol ethers, with a mass concentration of 1000 mg/L, are prepared using methanol (5.2).
5.6 Glycol ether standard working solution. Accurately pipette an appropriate amount of glycol ether standard stock solution (5.5) and add methanol (5.2).
Dilute to an appropriate mass concentration (such as 0.5 mg/L~50 mg/L) for instrument analysis.
