Foreword
This standard replaces GB 449-1984 "sawn timber volume table."
This standard compared with GB 449-1984, the main changes are as follows.
--- By the mandatory standards to voluntary standards;
--- Added the normative references;
--- Added some sawmills length, thickness dimension of volume data;
--- Added some size Fangcai of volume data.
This standard was proposed by the State Forestry Administration.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee timber.

1 Scope

3 Timber volume calculation method
Timber volume according to equation (1).

Where.
Vp --- sawn timber volume, in units of cubic meters (m3);
L --- sawmills length in meters (m);
W --- sawmills width in millimeters (mm);
T --- sawn thickness, in millimeters (mm).
