This document is modified to adopt ISO 13950.2007 “Automatic identification system for electric fusion joints of plastics pipes and fittings”.
Compared with ISO 13950.2007, this document has many structural adjustments. The comparison table of structural number changes between the two documents is shown in
Appendix A.
This document has more technical differences than ISO 13950.2007.
A list of these technical differences and their causes is given in Appendix B.

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 19278 and GB/T 20674.2 and the following apply to this document.

Offset value
An additional natural number added to a certain code.

Fusion cycle
The method used to achieve electrofusion pipe welding.
Note. It is divided into single-stage welding, multi-stage welding and temperature-controlled welding.

Constant voltage mode mode U
The electric fusion welding machine uses voltage to control the welding process and keeps the input voltage constant.
