Foreword
This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for standardization work Part 1.Structure and drafting rules for standardization documents"
Drafting is required.
This document is modified to adopt IEC 62928.2017 "Onboard traction lithium-ion batteries for rail transit locomotives and rolling stock".
Compared with IEC 62928.2017, this document has made the following structural adjustments.
--Chapter 4 corresponds to 3.2 of IEC 62928.2017;
--Chapter 5 corresponds to Chapter 4 of IEC 62928.2017, and subsequent chapters are adjusted accordingly;
--Appendix B corresponds to Appendix A in IEC 62928.2017;
--Appendix D corresponds to Appendix B in IEC 62928.2017.
This document has many technical differences compared to IEC 62928.2017.
A single line (|) is used to indicate these technical differences. A list of these technical differences and their reasons is given in Appendix A.
The following editorial changes were made to this document.
--Added notes in "Single cell and battery system name" and "System configuration" (see 8.2, 13.1.2);
--Deleted the "Notes" in 6.2 and 13.3 of IEC 62928.2017 (see 7.2 and 14.3);
-- Added Appendix A (informative) "List of technical differences and their causes".
Please note that some of the contents of this document may involve patents. The issuing organization of this document does not assume the responsibility for identifying patents.

Rail transit locomotives and vehicles
On-board traction lithium-ion battery
1 Scope
This document specifies the design, operating parameters, safety requirements, data exchange, and output of lithium-ion batteries for rail transit vehicles.
Factory inspection and type inspection as well as model and marking, describe the corresponding test methods.
This document applies to on-board traction lithium-ion batteries for rail transit locomotives and vehicles.
The battery system in this document refers to the energy storage system used as traction power for rail transit rolling stock, such as IEC 62864-1.2016
Hybrid vehicles as defined do not include lithium-ion batteries used in auxiliary power supplies.
Subcomponents within the battery system, such as the battery management system and battery thermal management system, are also included in this document.
Power conversion equipment (such as choppers, converters, etc.), inductors, capacitors and switchgear are outside the scope of this document.
The general requirements for on-board energy storage systems are given in IEC 62864-1.2016.
This document specifies lithium-ion battery technology but does not preclude the use of technologies other than lithium-ion battery technology as traction battery.
Pool application.
Hybrid energy storage systems using two or more energy storage technologies, such as traction batteries and electric double layer capacitors, are outside the scope of this document.
However, if different energy storage system technologies are used on the same train and managed independently, each independent energy storage system will meet its own
standards.
