3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Central Cloud
A form of cloud computing that is deployed in traditional data centers and is provisioned and managed in an on-demand self-service manner.
3.2
edge cloud
A form of cloud computing that provides elastically scalable services at the network edge close to things and data sources, and collaborates with the central cloud.
