1 Scope
This document stipulates the selection, evaluation and design of production casing strings for shale oil and gas wells, technical requirements, and evaluation of the suitability of casing working conditions.
This document is applicable to the selection and evaluation of production casing strings for shale oil and gas wells, and is also applicable to casing strings for mudstone-containing sections and carbonate rock sections.

3 Terms and definitions

The external shear load value that produces the minimum yield stress on the inner wall of the casing.

Maximum strain designstrain
The maximum equivalent strain produced in the radial direction of the casing under formation slip conditions.
3.3
