1 Scope
This document determines the indicators and indicator codes for animal disease epidemiological survey data, provides the corresponding code table, and

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
A large number of similar cases occurred in a certain animal farm or a certain area in a short period of time, or the epidemic with a known cause lasted for the longest time.
An investigation into the sudden occurrence of multiple cases during the incubation period.
3.2
For a period of time before the first case of the disease occurs (usually a maximum incubation period), all contacts (including direct
direct and indirect contact) incidents.
3.3
After the epidemic occurs, all events that may have spread the disease will be investigated to determine whether the disease has spread and its scope.
Note. The tracking period is generally from the incubation period before the first case is discovered to the date of lockdown.
3.4
A general term for all epidemiological investigation methods except emergency epidemiological investigation.
