1 Scope
This document describes the veterinary syndrome differentiation and treatment of piglet diarrhea.

4 General
Piglet diarrhea caused by exogenous cold and dampness or internal injury is mostly piglet cold-damp diarrhea syndrome;
Piglet diarrhea caused by virus and coccidia infection is mostly piglet diarrhea due to damp heat; piglet diarrhea caused by changing feed or excessive feeding
Most of the piglets have diarrhea syndrome due to injury to food; due to long-term drinking and feeding disorders, piglets diarrhea caused by spleen and stomach dystrophy are mostly piglets spleen deficiency diarrhea syndrome; due to kidney yang deficiency
The diarrhea of piglets caused by degeneration and abnormal transportation and transformation is mostly a syndrome of diarrhea due to kidney deficiency in piglets.
5 TCM veterinary treatment based on syndrome differentiation
5.1 Cold-damp diarrhea syndrome in piglets
5.1.1 Causes
Mostly in the cold season, or the pig house is cold and humid, the weather changes suddenly, and it is mostly caused by external cold and dampness or internal injury. Exogenous cold and dampness, invades the intestines
Stomach, causing gastrointestinal ups and downs to lose division, no distinction between clear and turbid, water and grains go to the large intestine, so the diarrhea is clear and thin like water;
Vibration, inability to transport and transform, cold dampness pours into the large intestine and causes diarrhea; damp turbidity block, gastrointestinal qi mechanism is blocked; damp turbidity is blocked, so the stomach is stuffy and less food is eaten, and the coating is white and greasy.
5.1.2 Principal certificate
Mental fatigue, tucked back, bowed waist, rough back hair, drooping head and ears, likes to huddle together or lie on the stomach with limbs pressed against the abdomen. Ear cold and whitish, ear pulse loss
Scattered, cold nose, whitish nose tip and root, mucus outflow from nostrils, dull eyes, swollen eyelids, pale, dark circles under eyes, white or greasy fur, slippery mouth
Lee, with chills. The diarrhoea is clear and thin, even watery, or with undigested feed residues, mostly pale khaki, white, and the diarrhoea has a weak odor and is cold
The diarrhea is severe, and it is lighter when it is warm.
5.1.3 Governing Law
Warm in the middle to disperse cold, diuresis to stop diarrhea.
