1 Scope

This document specifies the detection techniques for Babesiabovis and Babesiabigemina and Technical requirements for the diagnosis of besiasis. This document is applicable to the pathogen detection, nucleic acid detection, antibody detection and diagnosis of bovine babesiosis. Note. The bovine babesiosis referred to in this document is the babesiosis of cattle caused by the single or mixed infection of Babesia bovis and Babesia dipterata.
