1 Scope

This document defines the terms and definitions for the evaluation of new varieties of Chinese medicinal materials (botanical medicines), specifies the evaluation content and basis, variety test, evaluation Requirements, judging rules and records, etc. This document is applicable to the field evaluation and registration of new varieties of Chinese herbal medicines (botanical medicines).

3 Terms and Definitions
