1 Scope
This document gives a general model and interaction model based on the user interface of emotion computing, describing emotion representation, emotion data collection, emotion
Sense recognition, emotional decision-making and emotional expression modules.
This document is applicable to the design, development and application of user interfaces for emotional computing.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Affect
The user's response to the subjective perception of perceptual information.
Note 1.Emotions are the psychological and physical states produced by multiple feelings, thoughts and behaviors.
Note 2.Emotions arise from internal motivations and external environmental stimuli.
Note 3.Emotion has three components. subjective experience, external performance and physical arousal.
Note 4.Emotion has four characteristics. general characteristics, cultural characteristics, individual characteristics and situational characteristics.
Note 5.Emotions can describe the user's emotions, tendencies, preferences, personality, etc.
3.2
Emotion
Under the influence of a certain event or situation, a person's subjective experience or expression in a certain period of time.
Examples. happy, sad, fearful, surprised.
Note. Emotions are the physical and psychological states produced by a variety of complex feelings, thoughts and behaviors.
3.3
Affective interaction
A human-computer interaction process that uses user emotions or satisfies the user's emotional needs.
3.4
Affective computing
In the process of human-computer emotional interaction, the information system collects, recognizes, makes decisions and expresses user emotions.

Affective computing user interface
The interface for emotional interaction between users and information systems.

Affective representation
A method of formal description of emotions.
