1 Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, calculation methods, and calculation method descriptions for the calculation of water savings for projects in the steel industry.
This standard is applicable to the calculation of water saving amount of water saving projects in the steel industry. Refer to the calculation of water saving for new projects and management projects
use.

3 Terms and definitions

3.1
Projectboundary
The scope and geographic boundaries of water-using units, equipment, and systems involved in the implementation of water-saving renovation projects by iron and steel enterprises.
3.2
Project water saving
Under the conditions of meeting the same needs or achieving the same purpose, through the implementation of the project, the water intake of the water use unit is reduced compared with the reduction of the unimplemented project
