Deaerator performance test procedure
1 Scope
This standard specifies the method and procedure for the performance test of deaerator for dissolved oxygen concentration ≤75μg/L.
This standard applies to deaerator heaters and deaerators with surface exhaust condensation devices or hybrid exhaust gas condensation devices.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Heat load heatingload
The amount of heat that the steam transfers to the feed water in the deaerator per unit time.
3.2
Dissolved oxygen concentration
The concentration of residual dissolved oxygen in the feed water after deaeration.
3.3
Water supply terminal difference temperaturetemperaturedifference
The difference between the saturation temperature of the feed water and the deaerator outlet water temperature at the deaerator operating pressure.
3.4
Potentiometric titration
A method of determining the end point of a measured substance by measuring a change in potential during the titration.
