Introduction
GB/T 36450 "Information Technology Storage Management" is a recommended standard that guides the standardization of storage management in my country. It aims to adopt a unified
The standard management interface solves the interoperability of multi-vendor products and the management of cross-regional, multi-functional distributed storage systems. GB/T 36450
The compilation of "Information Technology Storage Management" is based on ISO /IEC 24775.Due to the long overall length and the content of it can be clearly divided into
For a relatively independent but related part, GB/T 36450 is intended to be composed of eight parts.
---Part 1.Overview. Provides a general overview of the GB/T 36450 series of standards.
---Part 2.General architecture. Contains basic information about the interface, such as security and protocols.
---Part 3.General configuration file. Contains component configuration files that can be extended to other parts of the configuration files, such as target ports and jobs
control.
---Part 4.Block equipment. Contains storage configuration files that support various forms of disk storage.
---Part 5.File system. Contains configuration files that support file systems, such as network attached storage (NAS).
---Part 6.Exchange structure. Contains configuration files that handle the interconnection of host servers and storage devices, such as switches.
---Part 7.Host element. Contains configuration files for storage software on the host server, such as disk partitions and host hardware RAID
Controller.
---Part 8.Media Library. Contains configuration files for handling removable media, such as tape libraries.
This file contains configuration files and other information used to manage host-based storage devices. The host-based storage device is the host system
The system provides storage functions. These devices include Fibre Channel host bus adapters, serial-attached SCSI host bus adapters, RAID controllers
The storage resources discovered by the controller, JBOD, and operating system. The host-based configuration file describes the connection of each device to the host system.
The host-based configuration file uses the sub-configuration file given in this document and the configuration file from the distributed management working group (if applicable
Use) to create a comprehensive management model.

Part 7.Host Elements
1 Scope
This document specifies the management profile of the autonomy, components and abstract profiles of host-based storage devices. Autonomous profile
Describes the management of host-based independent storage entities; component configuration files (or sub-configuration files) describe host-based, which can be used by other
The management of the storage entity used by the autonomous configuration file; the abstract configuration file described in this document can be used to create other host-based autonomous
The basis of governance profile.
The autonomous configuration files included in this document are.
---Host resource discovery configuration file. This configuration file specifies the storage device displayed to the operating system running on the host system
Model. In addition, this configuration file also describes the storage mapping associated with the host system that can be discovered by the client application;
---Fibre Channel HBA configuration file. This configuration file specifies from SAN devices (Fibre Channel switches, arrays, tape libraries)
Etc.) The model and function of the Fibre Channel HBA that exports the block storage to the host system;
---iSCSI initiator sub-configuration file. This configuration file specifies the necessary models and functions to manage iSCSI initiators.
Component configuration files use autonomous configuration files to describe various aspects of host-based storage elements and services. Specified in this document
Component configuration files (sub-configuration files) include.
---Host hardware RAID controller configuration file. This configuration file specifies the model and function of the host-based RAID controller.
Yes, the controller exports block storage from locally connected storage devices (built-in hard drives, JBOD, etc.) to the host system;
---Store HBA configuration files. This configuration file specifies the model and function of SAS, SATA, SPI or Fibre Channel HBA,
They export storage from SAN devices (Fibre Channel switches, arrays, tape libraries, etc.) to the host system;
---The disk partition sub-configuration file models the partition (or slice) configuration service provided by the operating system on some platforms;
---SB multi-path management sub-configuration file. The SB multipath management sub-configuration file will be used to support the path of the SB command protocol environment
(Connection between host controller and device port) modelling;
---SCSI multi-path management sub-configuration file. The SCSI multipath management sub-configuration file will be used to support the SCSI command protocol environment
The path (the connection between the host controller, device ports, and logical units) is modeled.
This document applies to the design, development, and management of host-based independent storage entities and their component configuration files (or sub-configuration files).
