1 Scope

This standard specifies the basic functions, shortcut keys, and compatibility of screen reader software. This standard is applicable to the development, application and maintenance of reading screen software under keyboard operating environment (such as PCs, laptops, etc.).

2 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document. 2.1 Screen reader software screenreader Screen reading software for visually impaired people. 2.2 Terminal terminal Physical devices that interact with telecommunications networks. 2.3 Feedback feedback Provides users with information on the state of the system (terminal, network, or service) after the original control action. 2.4 Voice recognition voicerecognition The process of converting human voice signals into text or instructions.
