1 Scope
This standard specifies the design, dimensions and technical requirements for mooring guide holes for guiding mooring and towing cables.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Safe working load safeworkingload; SWL
The maximum load the cable can withstand under normal operating conditions, in kilohertz (kN).
4 classification
4.1 type
The mooring cable holes can be divided into the following two types according to the installation position.
---A type. deck mounted mooring cable hole;
---B type. berth mounted mooring cable hole.
4.2 Nominal size
The nominal size of the mooring cable guide is expressed in terms of the width and height (L x H) of the opening of the cable guide in millimeters. For the same nominal
