1 Scope
This standard defines the terms and definitions of sawn timber inspection.
This standard applies to the inspection of coniferous sawn timber and hardwood sawn timber.

Sawn timber
The product obtained from the processing of logs.

Dry sawn timber driedsawntimber
Sawn timber that has been subjected to atmospheric drying or artificial drying to meet the specified moisture content requirements.
