Marine Engineering Structure Weighing Operation Specification
1 Scope
This standard specifies the conditions, devices, procedures, operation procedures and report contents for marine engineering structure weighing operations.
This standard applies to weighing operations of various types of offshore engineering structures. Weighing operations for other structures may also be referred to.
2 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
2.1
Weighing operation
Marine engineering structures (hereinafter referred to as “structures”) are measured with appropriate weighing devices during or after land construction.
The weight of the structure and its center of gravity.
2.2
Uncertaintyweighingequipment
The measuring instruments, data transmission and processing elements, calculation methods and operating methods of weighing devices comply with the requirements of national metrological regulations
The maximum error introduced by such factors.
2.3
Weighing weightingpoint
Several measurement positions are determined based on factors such as the form and weight distribution of the structure.
2.4
Weighing level weighingclass
According to the different requirements for the structure weight and center of gravity accuracy, the weighing measurement accuracy is divided into three levels. A, B, and C.
grade.
3 Weighing conditions
3.1 General requirements
3.1.1 Select the appropriate weighing scale according to the requirements for structural weight and center of gravity accuracy, see Table 1.
Table 1 Correspondence between accuracy requirement and weighing level
Weighing grade ABC
Accuracy requirement ≤ 1% ≤ 2% ≤ 3%
3.1.2 The safety of weighing operations, including the safety of personnel, structures, and weighing devices, shall be ensured in terms of technology, operation, and environment.
3.1.3 The structure should be lifted and lowered steadily to prevent sudden rise or descent.
3.1.4 There is no personnel operation or detention on the structure, and irrelevant personnel are evacuated from the operation area and isolation measures are taken.
3.1.5 Accurate data records, all data should be recorded simultaneously.
