1 Scope
This standard specifies the technical requirements and observation methods of sunshine observation in surface meteorological observation.

3 Terms and definitions
GB 31221, GB/T 35221, GB/T 35231 and defined by the following terms and definitions apply to this document.

The sum of the sub-periods of direct solar irradiance greater than or equal to 120 W/m2 for a given period of time.
