Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.
This standard uses the translation method identical with ISO 3852.2007 "Determination of bulk density of iron ore for blast furnace and direct reduction."
The documents of our country that are consistent with the corresponding international documents that are normative references in this standard are as follows.
Iron ore sampling and sample preparation methods (ISO 3082.2009, IDT).
This standard is proposed by the National Iron and Steel Association.
This standard by the National Iron Ore and Direct Reduced Iron Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC317) centralized.
This standard was drafted by. Shougang Corporation, Metallurgical Industry Information Standards Institute.

Blast furnace and direct reduction with iron ore
Determination of bulk density
1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination of blast furnace and direct reduction of iron ore with two kinds of determination of bulk density.
Method 1 applies to the maximum size of 40mm below the iron ore.
Method 2 is suitable for natural and processed iron ore of any particle size.
Note that the bulk density measured here does not necessarily represent the actual bulk density of the iron ore in the tight or stocked state.
2 Normative references
The following documents for the application of this document is essential. For dated references, only the dated version applies to this article
Pieces. For undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 20565 defined terms and definitions apply to this document.
4 principle
The test sample is loaded into a container of known volume so that the level of the container is flush with the mouth of the container. The calculated bulk density is the mass of test sample
Volume ratio.
5 sampling, sample preparation and test sample preparation
5.1 Sampling and sample preparation
For Tier 1, samples and samples shall be taken according to ISO 3082. Processing iron ore and natural iron ore sample weight should be at least
600kg.
You can use the receiving status, natural drying or drying oven dried samples were tested. Drying oven dried samples need 105 ℃ ±
Dry to constant weight at 5 ° C and cool the sample to room temperature before preparing the test sample.
Note 1. Constant weight refers to the sample twice the quality of the difference between less than 0.05% of the original sample mass.
For Tier 2, the minimum sample weight is 35 tons and the recommended weight is 50 tons.
Note 2. Depending on the type and composition of the iron ore, the volume of the 35t sample is about 14m3 ~ 23.6m3.
