1 Scope
This standard specifies the determination of animal and plant fats and oils (hereinafter referred to as grease) conventional unit volume mass (per liter in air weight)
For volume and quality conversion between each other.
This standard applies to liquid state grease.
In the determination of the temperature should ensure that the oil does not appear crystallized.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Conventional unit volumetric massmassmasspervolume
Literweightinair per liter of weight in the air
The ratio of mass to volume of grease in air at the stated temperature.
Note. The conventional unit volume mass is expressed in kilograms per liter (numerically equivalent to grams per milliliter).
4 principle
Measure the mass of the measured liquid grease in the calibrated densitometer at the specified temperature.
5 instruments
Laboratory equipment commonly used, especially the following equipment.
