Determination of dimethylformamide
1 Scope
This standard specifies the footwear and footwear components [such as a polyurethane (PU) coating material] dimethyl formamide (DMFo) content
test methods.
Note. In the footwear industry, PU in the injection molding (reaction molding) process does not require the use of DMFo. DMFo can be used for PU coating materials.

3 Principle of the method
