3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
metal matrix composites
Metal (such as aluminum, magnesium, titanium, nickel, etc.) or alloy matrix, particles, fibers, whiskers, etc. to enhance the composite body.
3.2
gauge length
Cylindrical specimens measuring the elongation or length of the prism portion used.
3.2.1
original gauge length
Standard test specimens at room temperature before the pitch.
3.2.2
final gauge length after fracture
Pull up the rear part of the specimen in two breaks butted together so that their axes are located on the same straight line, the distance measuring standard samples.
