3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Wastewater containing cyanide cyanidewastewater
Containing inorganic cyanide (CN-), thiocyanate (SCN-) or cyanide-based metal complexes of industrial waste water generated in the process.
4 containing cyanide wastewater treatment and disposal methods
4.1 Acidification Recycling Law
4.1.1 Application
Suitable for processing containing inorganic cyanide (CN-) or cyanide-based metal complexes (except iron cyanide complexes) of wastewater containing cyanide. Applicable concentration
Cyanide (as CN) content of not less than 1g/L.
4.1.2 Principle
Hydrocyanic acid is a weak acid, the ionization equilibrium constant Ka = 6.2 × 10-10, a boiling point of 25.7 ℃, easy to volatilize, under acidic conditions, wastewater
Inorganic cyanides tend to form hydrogen cyanide (HCN), absorption by water acidification, hydrogen cyanide and hydrogen cyanide gas stripping to achieve recovery
Purpose of cyanide ions.
NaCN H = HCN Na
Pb (CN) 2-4 4H = 4HCN Pb2
Zn (CN) 2-4 4H = 4HCN Zn2
Cu (CN) 2-3 2H = 2HCN CuCN ↓ (gray)
