This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.

1 Scope
This standard specifies the tape is stretched to a tensile strength (also known as the breaking strength) at break and elongation at break of the test methods.
This standard provides an assessment of the tape tensile strength and elongation at break of consistent method for a variety of adhesive tape performance comparison.

3 Terms and Definitions
GB/T 22396 and defined by the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
Tensile strength tensilestrength
Sample anti-fracture ability under specified conditions, usually N/cm for the unit.
Note. Tensile strength is required to be expressed in units of MPa.
3.2
Elongation at break elongationatbreak
Percentage elongation at break and the initial sample length markings, expressed as a percentage (%).
Category 4
This test method according to the tape substrate is divided into two types.
Method A. applicable to the determination of strength and elongation at break of ordinary adhesive tape substrate stretch;
Method B. applicable to the determination of the fiber-reinforced tape tensile strength and elongation at break.
