Foreword
This standard was drafted in accordance with GB/T 1.1-2009 given rules.
This standard uses redrafted law revision adopts the European standard EN15469.2007 "Petroleum Products LPG free water test
Visual inspection method. "
This standard EN15469.2007, compared with more adjustment in the structure, listed in Appendix A of this standard and EN15469.2007
The reg number table.
This standard and EN15469. Difference and technical reasons 2007 is as follows.
--- Increasing the normative references, industry standard SH/T 0233 "liquefied petroleum gas sampling method";
--- Increase in the content of the sample (see Chapter 8), in order to raise the standard of operability.
For ease of use, this standard also made the following editorial changes.
--- The standard name was changed to "LPG free water test visually";
--- Delete the references of ENISO 4257 "LPG manual sampling method";
--- The reference of ENISO 3993 amended as of the corresponding standard SH/T 0221;
--- Increase the informative Appendix A.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee on products and lubricant oil (SAC/TC280) proposed.
This standard by the National Standardization Technical Committee of petroleum products lubricants oil and lubricants and fuels Technical Committee (SAC/TC280 /
SC1) centralized.
This standard was drafted. China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation Research Institute of Petroleum.
The main drafters of this standard. Zhao Liping, Wu Mingqing.

Warning. This standard may involve some hazardous materials, operations and equipment, but not for all of the safety issues related to this are
make a suggestion. Thus, the user before application of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the relevant regulatory restrictions applicable
Versatility.
1 Scope
This standard specifies the test methods for visually determined using liquefied petroleum gas below 0 ℃ presence of free water.
Note. usually the test temperature is not lower than -5 ℃.
This standard applies to liquefied petroleum gas.
2 Normative references
The following documents for the application of this document is essential. For dated references, only the dated version suitable for use herein

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1
LPG liquefiedpetroleumgases; LPG
At ambient temperatures and pressures appropriate, can be liquid petroleum gas storage and handling. Its main components are propane, butane and less
The amount of propylene, butene, pentane, pentene.
4. Summary
Will be transferred to the transparent sample LPG tank pressure test, the sample accounted for 50% of the volume of the container, and then placed in the test tank to 0 ℃
Cold bath to cool for at least 1h, observe whether the sample ice crystals generated.
When there is no ice test result is "through"; if ice exists then the result is a "no."
LPG samples, when water containing dissolved or free water in the saturated vapor pressure above 0 ℃ temperature conditions are transparent, not cloudy,
Therefore, it is difficult to differentiate the two liquid phases. LPG is colorless and water at room temperature is difficult to determine the separation of the two liquid phases interface, only through the use of
Ming container and in the appropriate light can tell. The ice is much worse than the transparency of the water, more likely to be observed, if the water freezes, the
Visibility is improved.
5 Methods
The method for detecting a liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrying free water. Excess water can cause corrosion of aging equipment, as well as phase
Ice, causing the valve, pump and regulator blockage.
