This Standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This Standard replaces GB/T 301-1995, Rolling Bearings – Thrust Ball Bearings - Boundary Dimensions. Compared with GB/T 301-1995, the main technical changes of this Standard are as follows. -- it adds normative references, terms and definitions and codes (see Chapter 2, Chapter 3 and Chapter 5); -- it modifies part of symbols and definitions (see Chapter 4; Chapter 2 of 1995); -- it deletes the structural diagrams and dimensions tables (see Figure 3 to Figure 6 and Table 8 to Table 13 of Edition 1995); -- it adds the types and dimensions of some bearings (see Table 1, Table 2 and Table 4 to Table 7); and -- it deletes the annex of “cross reference of structural type codes of old and new bearings” (see Annex A of Edition 1995). This Standard was proposed by China Machinery Industry Federation. This Standard shall be under the jurisdiction of the National Standardization Technical Committee on Rolling Bearings (SAC/TC 98). The drafting organizations of this Standard. Harbin Bearing Group Corp., Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd. and Zhejiang Meiyate Precision Transfers Component Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this Standard. Song Yucong, Yong Taifang, Zhou Youfeng, Jia Qiusheng and Weng Shixi.
